Our team

Making the world a little bit better in small ways– this is the idea of SonaLight.

SonaLight is a project of Enactus, the world’s largest volunteer student non-profit organization with projects all over the world. Our aim is to help self-help through entrepreneurial and ecological approaches and to sustainably improve the standard of living and the quality of life of people in need of help.

Founded in 2016, our team now consists of 21 international students studying at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. From industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronic to optics and photonics, every discipline is represented in our team. We are currently working in four different areas of responsibility: Marketing, Partnermanagement, Finace and Technical Support. If you are interested in what our workstreams are working on right now make sure to check our workstream information. Together we are working to provide people in India with reliable access to a cheap, sustainable and above all safe source of light.
